The Mount Washington Valley Mountaineers Football program takes great pride in asking for your pledge of support. The Mountaineers provide enriching athletic opportunities for students throughout the Mount Washington Valley and beyond, opening up our program to communities in towns in New Hampshire and Maine.
The 2011 season was one of phenomenal success for the Mountaineers. In only our second year, we won a New Hampshire State Championship. We moved on to the New England Regional semi-finals, where our squad did the unthinkable by beating a Massachusetts powerhouse, the Worcester Vikings, 8 to 6. It was a battle of determination and skill. With that victory, MWV became one of the "elite of Pop Warner" as one of the fourteen remaining teams in the entire nation left standing in the Unlimited Weight division.
It is the intention of the board and the coaching staff to continue this young tradition of offering excellent coaching and leadership, mentoring of young student-athletes, and of success and sportsmanship. Our program, however, needs the help of businesses and individuals so that we can purchase equipment, provide travel to and from away games, offer assistance to families unable to pay for the cost of registration, and to prepare for the possibility that we may one day travel to Florida for a national youth football championship.
The Mountaineers offer students in grades six through eight an opportunity to learn fundamental skills, values and knowledge that they will use throughout their entire lives. Whether a child goes on to play in high school or college, each individual will carry these valuable experiences throughout his or her life. We believe that a gift, no matter how small or large, is a fantastic way to support your community, while receiving positive recognition in media, at games and online. Your tax-deductible donation will be applied toward registration fees for families unable to meet the required costs, equipment upkeep and replacement, travel and official/game fees.
The Mount Washington Valley Mountaineers Football program joined the New Hampshire Pop Warner League in 2010. We open our doors to every individual who wishes to play with us, regardless of ability or experience.

Because our program is registered as a non-profit organization under 501(c)(3) status, your donation will be tax deductible. Every dollar will go directly to the program itself. No fees are paid to coaches or members of the board of directors.
